MY FAVOURITE TEAM - THE PHILADELPHIA FLYERS

What else is there to say except "Lets Go Flyers Lets Go"?
Actually, there is a lot to say about the Philadelphia Flyers.
They have had a rough season. They came into the season like a lion, winning game after game. Then suddenly it all came to an almost screeching hault when their winning streak was driven into a wall by the Toronto Maple Leafs on January 16, 1999 with a score of 4-3. Things started to take a turn for the worse. Losing more games than the Flyers seemed to be winning. They also faced a many trades of teammates, injuries, and officials that didn't seem to be all that partial. They had some great defense and blocking. Beezer(Vanbiesbrouck) seemed to have a spine made of rubber.
With all the hard times they have faced I will always love the Philadelphia Flyers..whether or not Lord Stanley's Cup is in their possession.
Lets go Flyers Lets go!

THE TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS
|
This year has been full of ups and downs for the Toronto Maple Leafs. They started out near the top and stayed there for almost a quarter of the season. Then, something started to slip with the Leafs as they fell as low as 17th place in the league. After redesigning and now into a new Arena, The Air Canada Centre, the Leafs have jumped back up near the top. Things are looking better now as the end of the season wraps up as the Leafs go into the playoffs with a winning team and a good chance to take the Stanley. Well, isn't it about time. I believe they can do it and Leaf fans should stand behind their team win or lose.
